Romeo Scenery Studio builds scenery and
props for all aspects of The Performing Arts.
We can start working at any point in the
production process. When the project requires
a set, we tell you how much the set will cost;
from the boards or from an Art Director's
Sketches. The scenery is built in our Studio,
then put on the truck, and brought to the
location.
Romeo has built sets for hundreds of
productions: client list ranges from IBM to
Lincoln Center. John Romeo studied scenery
design and construction at SUNY at Purchase
and is a graduate of the professional set
designer program.
In 1977, J. Romeo Workshop, Inc. opened at
474 Greenwich Street in Tribeca.
Romeo brought the skills of an artist and
master carpenter to set construction,
establishing a reputation for high quality
scenery and dependability.
